For CKT, we developed the web server and user interfaces for the Yard 2.0 hardware-software platform. The solution connects on-site equipment with web interfaces for operators, dispatchers, and managers in a unified control loop.
Note: hardware and equipment control software were developed by CKT. We were responsible for the web server and all user interfaces.
Yard 2.0 — what was done:
Web server as system core — developed a web server connecting on-site equipment with user interfaces into a unified control loop
Role-based user interfaces — separate interfaces for operators, dispatchers, and managers — each role sees only the functionality they need
Physical equipment data intake — real-time data reading from sensors and weighing equipment
Operation recording module — every on-site action is recorded with timestamp, object, and responsible person
Reporting system — automatic generation of acts, reports, and analytics on operations — with file export
Queue and flow management — web interface allows operators to view and manage object movement across the site in real time
Implementation details
Developed a web server that receives data from CKT equipment (sensors, weighing systems) and transmits it to operator web interfaces. Our responsibility covered the software part: backend and frontend. Hardware and low-level equipment control software remained on CKT’s side.
Separate interfaces for roles: receiving-point operators, dispatchers, managers. Each interface adapted to the specific workflow to minimise unnecessary actions.
Receiving data from physical sensors and devices, including weighing equipment. Automatic recording of readings with generation of primary documents: acts, receipts.
Routing objects across the site, queuing when nodes are busy, status recording at each stage. Operators can change routes and rules in real time via the web interface.
Operation log with filtering. Generation of reports and acts based on templates. File storage (photos, documents) linked to operations.
